AT A GLANCE

FedEx National LTL was formed in 2006 when FedEx Corporation purchased the less-than-truckload operations of Watkins Motor Lines, a privately held company headquartered in Lakeland, Florida

With over $1 billion in annual revenue, FedEx National LTL operates as a separate network within the FedEx Freight segment. The FedEx Corporation also includes FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Kinko's.

FedEx National LTL focuses on major metro long-haul combinations, complementing the regional, next- and second-day focus of FedEx Freight.

FedEx National LTL, with approximately 8,700 employees and contractors, is one of a handful of trucking companies that has been consistently profitable since obtaining its transcontinental LTL operating authority in 1972. Today, with revenues in excess of $1 billion, it has over 139 locations and operates more than 13,000 tractors and trailers.
